当店の中庭の風景です。社長の趣味で庭を創作するのが楽しみの様です。
枯山水を真似た様ですが、真意は解りません。苔を良い状態で維持するのは大変な作業です。

It is the scenery of the courtyard of our shop. It seems to be pleasure to create a garden by a hobby of the president.
I seem to have imitated a dry landscape Japanese garden, but do not understand the real intention. It is great work to maintain moss in a good state.

シベリア・ロールは山屋製パンの代表作で、創業者の（山本　芳雄）が考案し当店では４０年間作り続けている商品です。カステラに餡を載せ、デニッシュの生地で包み焼き上げました。仕上げはホワイトチョコレートを切り口にコーチングして完成です。￥１６８円（税込み）で販売しています。
創業者（山本　芳雄）は太平洋戦争に徴兵され、満州（現　中華人民共和国　東北部　ハルピン）付近で終戦を迎えました。しかし、突然のソビエト軍の侵攻で日本軍捕虜としてシベリアに抑留されました。シベリア鉄道の建設で辛く過酷な労働に堪えていた或る日、ソビエト軍の上官が「パンを作る職人はいないか？」との問いかけに、芳雄は志願しソビエト軍の兵士のために、パンを焼く係になりました。寒さと飢えと、過酷な労働から解放され毎日パンを焼きました。後世、「芸は身を助ける」とよく聞かされました。しかし、抑留された戦友の事を考えると心を痛める気持ちに苛まれる日々でもありました。生き残った日本兵は、日本への帰還で芳雄も日本の本土を再び踏みしめる事が出来ました。
シベリア・ロールは其の時のシベリア鉄道建設時に氷点下の厳しい環境の中で目にした、鉄道の枕木が霜で白く凍結した様子を表現したものです。
当時の味を変える事無く製造していますので、少し甘みが強いのですがお客様には好評で今日まで続く商品です。

(Yoshio Yamamoto) of the founder devises the Siberia roll in a best work of the bread made by Yamaya, and it is the product which it continues making for 40 years in our shop. I put bean jam on the sponge cake and I wrapped it in cloth of デニッシュ and baked it. The finish performs coaching of white chocolate in the cut end, and it is completion. I sell it for the 168 yen yen (tax-included).
The founder (Yoshio Yamamoto) was drafted in the Pacific Wars and greeted the end of the war in the vicinity of Manchurian (existing People's Republic of China northeast region Harbin). However, it was detained as Japanese armed forces captive by invasion of the sudden Soviet Union force by the Siberia. Of the one day, Soviet Union force which were worthy of severe labor by construction of the Trans-Siberian Railroad strictly "make bread, is not a senior officer to the craftsman?" Yoshio applied and became the person in charge who baked bread for a soldier of the Soviet Union force to ask it about との. I was freed from cold and starvation and severe labor and baked bread every day. In coming ages, it was told well "Art brings bread". However, it was days tormented by a feeling to be anxious about when I thought about a detained fellow soldier. As for the Japanese soldier who survived, Yoshio was able to step cautiously on the Japanese mainland by the return to Japan again.
I was white, and the railroad tie of the railroad that I saw the Siberia roll at the time of the Trans-Siberian Railroad construction at the age of it in below-zero severe environment expressed a frozen state in frost.
Because it produces it without changing then taste, some sweetness is strong, but it is the product which it is popular with visitors, and continues until today.

東国原、宮崎県知事来店、写真は知事就任前の（そのまんま東）さんの時に来店して頂、社長夫婦を撮影した画像です。東さんは北海道をマラソンで観光する目的で、砂川付近を走破中でした。其の時に当店を発見し来店して頂きました、メロンパンをお買い上げ頂いて、店舗内のイートインで少し休憩を取り出発しました。数日後、千歳空港へ向かう途中、再度来店して頂き「メロンパンの味が忘れられない」と、またまたお買い上げ頂いて大変ありがとうございました。これからも益々の活躍を期待しています。
北海道へお越しの際は、また寄って下さいね。

Higashikokubaru, a Governor of Miyazaki visit, a photograph are the images which they come to the store at the age of (Sonomamma Higashi), and photographed the top, Mr. and Mrs. president before the governor assumption of office. Azuma was running the whole course of Sunagawa neighborhood for the purpose of seeing the sights of Hokkaido by marathon. I had you purchase the melon bun which had I discovered our shop at the time of it and come to the store and I took some breaks in the eat-in in the store and left it. I have you come to the store again for the middle toward Chitose Airport, and, a few days later, thank you for purchasing it once again when "the taste of the melon bun is unforgettable". I expect more and more activity from now on.
